I received my Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University in Psychology in 1997. I also received my Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in School Counseling from Northwestern State University in 2001.
I am a member of the American School Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and Louisiana School Counseling Association.
I am currently the School Counselor for Pre-K through 2nd grade at Rosepine Elementary School. My primary responsibility as a School Counselor is to promote academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to providing support to the students, staff, families, and community of RES. Throughout the school year, I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups, meeting with parents, and collaborating with administration, teachers and staff.
I have been working as a School Counselor since 2008; seven years at the secondary school level and four years at the elementary school level.
